Semaglutide -Cyanocobalamin

Semaglutide is a recently developed weight loss medication that has proven to help people lose weight. Compounded semaglutide combined with vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) enhances the drug’s effectiveness while simultaneously improving energy levels supporting long term weight loss results.

Tirzepatide - Niacinamide

A newer medication, tirzepatide, has been shown to be even more effective than semaglutide for weight loss. This advanced medication compounded and combined with vitamin B3 (niacinamide) creates a superior weight loss medication with additional anti-aging benefits for long lasting weight loss and healthier skin.

Eric T.

“I’ve lost 30 pounds in 2 months on tirzepatide.”

Ginny O.

“I tried and failed to lose weight with so many different diets and exercise plans. Nothing worked until I tried tirzepatide.”

How does semaglutide work?

Semaglutide an incretin mimetic; specifically, semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. Semaglutide binds and activates the GLP-1 receptor. This receptor helps to improve insulin concentrations, slows gastric emptying, and reduces food intake. Essentially, GLP-1 agonists stimulating the pancreas to elevate insulin production. This actives a signaling pathway in your body, leading to a prolonged time in which the stomach will empty itself. The end result is feeling fuller for a longer period of time, which allows you to curb cravings without the feelings of starvation or invasive surgeries. Think of this as an “anti-hunger” medication.

How does tirzepatide work?

Tirzepatide is similar to semaglutide as it is not only a GLP-1 receptor agonist but also acts as a gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) agonist. It also causes the pancreas to release more insulin, which lowers blood sugar levels and has the similar effects of semaglutide. However, its dual agonism ability decreases hunger and significantly lowers blood glucose levels compared to GLP-1 agonist drugs used alone.

Am I a candidate for these weight loss medications?

If you've been told you're overweight or obese, finding it hard to lose weight and keep it off, and you're tired of trying popular diets and exercise programs without success, medical weight loss might be a good option for you. Medical weight loss is not for everyone and isn’t without risk. These specific treatments are not recommended for individuals with any of the following:

  • Hypersensitivity to semaglutide, tirzepatide, cyanocobalamin, or niacimaide

  • Current pregnant, actively breastfeeding, or plan to be pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)

  • Medical history of multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2)

What are the side effects of the medication?

Based on available data, most users do not experience significant adverse drug reactions. The primary adverse effects reported are gastrointestinal, but other side effects have also been infrequently reported. The most common side effects include:

  • Abdominal cramps

  • Constipation

  • Diarrhea

  • Nausea

  • Vomiting

  • Headache

  • Fatigue

If you are taking semaglutide or tirzepatide and experience any of these side effects or other serious symptoms such as, but not limited to, lethargy, light headedness, or weakness, please contact your primary healthcare provider for treatment and guidance. If one is not available or if necessary, proceed to the nearest urgent care or emergency room
